Just when I thought summer had exhaled in Ohio and the new
breath would bring autumn, it's back to 90.
The air conditioner that we had fixed two weeks ago, quit
at the darkest hour. well, the hottest hour, four p.m.
While I scratched my head and called the plumber who will
not pick up his messages until after coffee and a doughnut
Monday morning, M. swung into action. She checked Youtube
videos and found one for ac repair. It gave her a video
checklist for possible problem solution.
A breaker was thrown. She fixed the air conditioner.
Saved us another two hundred dollar visit. Thank God the
plumber didn’t answer his phone and come on double time
Sunday.
31 years later and the little lambie has become a heroine.
A friend recently wrote about weekend camping near alligators
and coyotes. For older persons, sleeping without air
conditioning in 90 degree Ohio has nearly the same degree
of adventure.
