I saw the article about the Beach Boys going out to perform again. She looked up from her computer browsing, thought a second and said she wouldn't buy that four hundred dollar ticket. She said, "After fifty years . . . they ought to be a little rusty.
I nodded at that.
She said what they ought to do is go out to the malls and have people pay to have their picture taken with them.
That seemed a reasonable idea.
"Performing is in my blood," she said in a mock Beach Boys voice.
Then she came back with her M. voice to admonish, "Alchol is in your blood and makes you say that."
I'll let you know, but I don't think we're running out to buy tickets to see the Beach Boys.
