multiple dimensions

Multiple dimensions of our lives are existing now, some say.  I hear, but do I believe.  This morning I recorded something on the piano.  Nothing new about this, a usual event.  I noted when I invented a title and saved the morning improvisation the length -  6:45.

A few moments later I wanted to pull out the piece and listen to what I had created.  I noticed that it was now exactly two minutes in length.  I listened and didn't recognize it.  There were some octaves I had played in the left hand near the end of the piece, and they were not there.  What had happened?

Had I accidently discovered evidence of a transfer into another, yet similar, dimension.  Did I play this piece in another time?  Had I recognized a change of dimension by accident, by paying attention to what I had seen, what had occurred?

I checked again in the file where I had saved this piece and found in slightly different spelling the 6:45 piece I had played this morning.  No jump to another dimension had occurred; only creative spelling.  I don't know if I should be relieved; or would I prefer an intra-dimensional transference, for a change of place.
